Meet the Team

Wyatt Stimpson

Owner

I was born and raised Patriotic. My first and longest lasting favorite movie is The Patriot. A story about young men willing to fight and die for their country. An old tired father that is forced to sacrifice more than he ever should to uphold the hopes and dreams of his sons. From 8 years old and on, I wanted to be in the military, to protect and serve.

At 17 I signed the dotted line. Joined as Security Forces, Law Enforcement and Physical Security for the Air Force. I took my career in the military serious, maybe too serious. Several great mentors took me under their wing and helped me shoot through the ranks. Quickly becoming a subject matter expert, relied on by my peers and even my seniors. Each year in the Air Force felt like 2 years to me. I loved it, I got to do and see so much, but I was already wearing myself out.

Leaving the military was a tough decision. Figured I would try my hand at civilian life and try to settle down roots. Spending several years in Sales positions, I realized I wasn't living up to my purpose but couldn't put my finger on what to do now.

It took an unfortunate wake up call for it to click. My girlfriends home got broken into. She was afraid, scared for her safety and I couldn't do anything to help at the time. I can't be everywhere at once, I'm not The Flash or Captain America. I can empower the people around me to be their own Hero though.

The Honey Badger was my first Security Forces team's mascot. They're resilient, persistent, dangerous when they have to be, and in my opinion... oddly cute. Ultimately, no one messes with them. I want to make every home and business feel like a honey badger. Most people aren't afraid of them, they just know better than to mess with them.

The Original Honey Badgers

The Honey Badgers were my first team at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. On our team we had "The Cross Fit President of Guam", that was lauded as the rising star for the Air Force in Guam. A professional body builder that would smile and run into every challenge. An NCO with multiple tours in Iraq, that was positioning himself to be a three letter suit. A working dog handler with jump experience and was an embodiment of what a soldier should be. A handful of leaders that pushed us as professionals yet somehow still made our team feel like family.

I had big shoes to fill and all the best mentors to make sure I could fill them. I owe everything I am and what I was able to do in the Air Force to this team. They showed me how to be the person that runs into the firefight, but also how to be someone that can open up and listen to those in need.
